The Languages and Translation Centre can provide a wide range of scientific services to various faculties of El Sheikh Abdallah El-Badri University, especially with regard to foundation courses for university students, scientific terminology, and English for specific purposes.
Based on the above, the centre not only provides linguistic services, but will also contribute to raising the academic level in various scientific courses by qualifying students to access knowledge sources and references in the English language. In addition, the centre will contribute to raising students’ abilities to deal with international scientific publications and contribute to them effectively, which will be positively reflected in raising the university’s global ranking by international ranking institutions such as the well-known Web Metrics.
To put the vision of the centre into effect, we recommend that everything related to the English language and scientific concepts and terminology be taught at the Languages and Translation Centre or in the halls adjacent to the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy with the aim of providing a distinguished educational service and direct and close supervision of all the work, research and scientific publications presented on the various scientific sites via the university’s portal and website.
It is also worth noting that the centre may play an important role in qualifying students for internationally recognized courses such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc. There is no doubt that the centre will contribute significantly to connecting students with the scientific material in

In the future, the centre may grant intermediate diploma and bachelor’s degrees in translation (English/Arabic) at the prestigious El Sheikh Abdallah El-Badri University.
